The Metravi GD-09-1 Combustible Gas Detector and Alarm, has high sensitivity, a compact design and reliable performance for detecting combustible gas (like LPG) leaks. Adopting high-quality smart sensors and advanced techniques, the device is suitable for gas leak detection at premises where gas leaks are possible to occur, such as households, hotels, shopping malls, cafes, industrial kitchens, offices, canteens, etc. The device sounds an alarm with red flashing light, when gas concentrations reach or exceed the alarm set point, helping keep people safe from accidents like fire, explosion, suffocation, etc., due to the leak. Where in the room should the sensor plug be installed? The detector/sensor should be installed at a distance from the gas source radius within 1.5M, more than 30cms below the ceiling for methane (like LNG) or more than 30cm above the floor for propane and butane (like LPG).
