Kaneria AAC lightweight blocks are manufactured by Fly Ash, Cement, Water, Lime and Aluminium powder. All Ingredients are measured and then mixed and poured into a mould. The reaction between the aeration agent (Aluminium Powder) and lime creates millions of microscopic bubbles, which increase volume and make it light in weight. AAC consists of almost 80% of air volume, making it the lightest material for masonry. AAC blocks light weight results in reduced dead load of the building and consequently reducing seismic forces applied to the structure during earthquake. AAC blocks does not contain combustible material, resulting in heat transfer at a very slow rate, making AAC blocks fire resistant.
