STR Y-Type Strainer is designed to protect downstream instrumentation and process equipment such as gauges, analyzers, flowmeters, and back pressure regulators from debris including rust, pipe scale, sediment, and solid particulates. Manufactured in SS316 with a heavy-duty rugged body, it features a removable SS316 wire mesh element with 40-micron retention for effective filtration with minimal pressure drop. The machined seat design ensures precise alignment of the screen to prevent bypass and enable accurate reassembly after maintenance. Equipped with an element plug for easy cleaning and vertical line mounting, STR is specifically suited for water conditioning and analyzer sample handling applications. Available in STR12 (1/2” NPT) and STR14 (1/4” NPT) variants, it supports pressures up to 30 kg/cm² and temperatures up to 80°C, ensuring long-term reliability in industrial environments.
