About Machine It is a double column type machine; having generously provided ribs with appropriate wall thickness for base, arm, inner column & sleeve; and the machine is rigidly built to withstand static as well as severe dynamic loads. Its inner column is securely bolted with the bed. Along the fixed column, sleeve rotates 180° RH/LH, carrying assembly of an arm and a drilling head. Sleeve’s rotational movement is achieved using a large dia. needle bearing at bottom and 3 bearings at top. Its oil-bath type drill-head gearbox offer 8 speed and 6 power feeds. Power feed mechanism consists of a ball type face-clutch fitted with a conical bush, which disengages at preset depth as well as against too high drilling pressure; thus, prevents breakages or damages of internal parts.
