Shakti Round Multicore is the PVC insulated and PVC sheathed round cable, the general purpose multicore that most installations use. Two, three and four core, from 0.5 right up to 95 sq mm, so one family covers a fan regulator drop and a distribution sub-main. Flexible copper conductors make it easy to dress into a panel. This is the cable for motors, appliances, control panels and boards, and for pump connections where a round profile suits the run. The sheath protects the cores where the cable is exposed or run on tray, which is the practical difference between a multicore and three single core wires pulled through a conduit. It comes in 100 m coils and 500 or 1000 m drums, with a black outer sheath.
