Mahashakti Round Multicore is the premium multicore cable in the range, insulated with XLPO, cross linked polyolefin, under a special elastomer sheath. XLPO takes more heat than PVC and it is self extinguishing, so the cable copes with a motor that runs hot and with the knocks a sheath takes in a plant room. Two, three and four core, 0.75 to 16 sq mm. Use it where a PVC multicore would be working at its limit: air conditioner and refrigeration connections, submersible and industrial motors, pump sets, machinery and control panels. The elastomer sheath stays flexible in the cold and resists abrasion where the cable is dragged or clipped tight. It ships in 100 m coils and 500 or 1000 m drums, and the same construction can be supplied with XLPE or rubber insulation, or with an aluminium conductor, on request.
