4MHP Series High-Performance Butterfly Valves feature a single-piece body design in lug type for dead-end service, offering bi-directional sealing compliant with ANSI 150, 300, or 600 ratings. Constructed from high-grade materials like carbon steel they ensure corrosion resistance and easy actuator mounting due to an extended neck. The stainless steel disc maximizes flow with a standard Cv, while an internal travel stop prevents disc over-travel. Taper pins provide a strong stem-valve connection. The single-piece stem of 17-4 PH stainless steel is standardized for actuator interchangeability. A handle with a locking plate allows precise positioning, and stem packing facilitates easy adjustments without removing actuators. The stem seal ensures compression and protection, with additional options for high temperatures. Bearings on the stem prevent distortion, and a two-part seat assembly with an O-ring ensures a tight seal, minimizing compression set & extending service life
